For Loop IONS programs held in the Swedenborg Library, come to the Chicago Temple Building located at 77 W. Washington Street (southeast corner of Clark St. and Washington - BMO Harris Bank is the landmark you will see on the corner.) The Chicago Temple Building is located directly across the street from Daley Plaza. The Swedenborg Library is located on the 17th floor, adjacent to the elevators.
On occasion, our meetings will be held on the second floor of the Chicago Temple Building. The doorman will help direct you when you arrive.
The building is easily reached by mass transit. The #22 Clark St. bus stops one-half block away (City Hall-Randolph stop.) State Street buses stopping at Washington St. will be two blocks away. Several bus lines travel east on Washington, and stop at Dearborn, one-half block beyond the Chicago Temple Building.
Exit the Orange, Brown, and Green train lines at Clark/Lake and walk two blocks south to Washington St. Exit the Blue or Red Line trains at Washington.
For parking downtown, we recommend checking SpotHero.com or ParkWhiz.com for discounted spaces available in area lots. We frequently use the Washington-Madison-Wells Self Park lot located at 172 W. Madison (between LaSalle & Wells). The 172 W. Madison Self-Park (right-hand side of street as you drive westbound on Madison) is typically $10 weeknights after 5 pm when you order a discount coupon through SpotHero.com. Without the coupon, the rate is $16.
